W5 Reflection

Numeracy

For numeracy I was learning to do ordering whole numbers to 1000. I like it because it was fun to order numbers. I have also been learning how to take away using tens and ones.

Writing 

For writing I did an article about Charlotte's web. It was I bit hard to do it because I chose a hard character to do.

                                                            Reading

For reading I have been learning how to use all the sounds in the words to help us decode. This means I will be able to sound out the beginning and middle and end sounds.

We learnt how to blend pastels.

We were describing Mr Zuckerman's barn and using similes, metaphors and personification.

Q1.What is a Mascot?

A Mascot is used to represent a group of people or a team.

Often it’s an animal or some kind of soft toy,such as a teddy bear.

Some people even think that mascots bring good luck and help to achieve success.

Q2.Why did soldiers have mascots?

To represent the team. In the teams there are mascots

I think that war is a scary place to be. Josh

In war soldiers  need to have pigeons to send messages to doctors. Josh

War needs good mascots because they are very important to send messages to other soldiers. Ry

Banqer is a website we have at school where we can use the money that we earn to have free time and other things.
